About of my dispute is with fedex under the free shipping. They did a lot of backtracking because the characterization was bad so my bundle was delayed. This is because the bolts on the OEM midpipe are a one-half inch too short to properly mount the axleback. So I had to buy longer bolts to mount it better. It does not sound like typical "Fart" can, this is a deep rich tone you only hear from a Subaru(it is louder than stock). I did take to buy a gasket for it, which Borla should include only does not. I'm very pleased with the exhaust. All stainless, easy bolt-on associates. The directions are easy to sympathise. No need to jack up an Fifteen for the install. I installed these in under an 60 minutes using a 3/eight bulldoze ratchet using a 9/16 and 15mm socket and of course some WD40. A couple tips for the installation, spray the rubber support hangers with WD40 (my car is new and so didn''t demand to spray the clamp bolts), unbolt the clamp and remove commodities completely, once you get the muffler separated from the rest of the exhaust you will now need to wrestle it off of the safe hangers, while under the car I used what I had next to me to prop up the exhaust using the can WD40, push button the remaining exhaust pipe up as far equally you lot can and place the "can" betwixt the exhaust pipe and the blackness support caryatid it goes over, this will go along information technology upward out of the way while you lot wrangle the muffler off of the rubber hangers, y'all may as well loosen the condom hanger bracket to give you some flexibility with getting the sometime muffler out and so installing the new one, one time you have the new muffler supported past the rubber hangers you tin can now popular the tin of WD40 (or similar wedge) out assuasive the exhaust to come down and mate with the muffler, the clamps are tacked onto the former muffler but are easily removed with a back and forth movement, install the clamps and while tightening make certain to adjust the muffler for proper fitment at the Chrome tip. WOW!! The best buy I have made for whatsoever vehicle to engagement. I am on my second Gen v Camaro. I put an axel-back SLP LoudMouth I on my previous V6 Camaro RS (2LT). Way too loud! I was terrified to make the same mistake on my new 2011 SS. Later on iv months of debating I settled on the Borla True cat-Back 'S-type' and I am actually impressed! I love it. The install took me almost exactly 3 hours. Getting the massive GM mufflers out of the rubber holders was the biggest pain of the hole procedure. Once they were free, installing the Borla pipes and exhaust was a smoothen, easy process. At start upward, the 'S-Type' had the perfect exhaust note and on the test drive the growl was just a dream. Minimal cabin dissonance, but plenty to experience like you are driving a Camaro merely no interfearance with the radio and I could talk on the telephone if I needed. I have a lot of experience with modifying cars for the street and the track and this is my first fourth dimension buying a Borla exhaust, I will never buy any other exhaust. I am extremely impressed. I have placed all of my Camaro upgrades through LMPerformance and love them! I have never paid for shipping and my orders have never taken more than three days to make it at my doorstep from the engagement I placed the order online. The prices are unbeatable. Advice: When removing your stock frazzle and installing your Borla, have a spray canteen filled with water and ((a few)) drops of dish lather (don't over-practise-information technology) to spray on those prophylactic mounts. I used four iii-ton jack stands and a 3-ton hydrolic elevator for this project. I advise you to have a one/2" 15mm deep drive earlier starting the project. The deep drive will be needed to tighten the pipe clamps on the Cat-Back. I tin can't speak for the Axel-Back.

Was looking for a stainless steel replacement for the bulky stock exhaust on my wife's 2011 Camaro V6. Looking for a improve sound but not too loud. Take replaced other vehicles with Flowmaster exhausts. Searched alot of sound bites on the internet of different exhausts on the V6 camaro. Decided to go witht he Borla arrangement because of the blazon of stainless they use, the engineering behind the system, and the sound. This is for my wife's daily commuter and she is completely satisfied with the organisation's sound. It was simple to put on altough I spend quite a bit of time getting them centered in the cutout of the motorcar's rear end. I am impressed with the clamps, as well. Much better than those you buy at your local store. Read the instructions carefully as I was a bit confused at where to measure the old organisation from to cut it. I video'd the sound before and after and will be putting it on the web soon. LMPerformance had the best price by far from my extensive search. Shipping was quick as well. Highly recommended.

I wanted and exhaust that was louder then stock but not to loud. Borla delivered a deep tone and a great quality sound. Keep in listen I accept the stock H pipe on for now. I recall it sounds bully and couldn't be happier! There is some resonance at well-nigh 2000 RPM's just over all it sounds clean and crisp! A piffling popping when decelerating simply that is to be expected with a high menstruation exhaust. Overall rating Fantabulous! Thanks LMP for making my starting time upgrade a memorable one. I will definately keep shopping here at LMP Performance!

This cat-dorsum is a great choice if you lot want your auto to audio louder than stock without being deafening or obnoxious. I take the stock downpipe on my WRX, but once I get an aftermarket one I know information technology will sound a bit louder. The tone is VERY deep and rich sounding; it sounds similar a really expensive exhaust, no fart can here. Bought the borla s blazon exhaust mostly for the audio. I do not normally keep my vehicles for more than than 3 -4 years so I thought is was pointless for me to get the full cat back organisation. I am VERY happy with this product. Information technology was piece of cake to install equally long as you have a lilliputian know how and a couple of common tools. The sound is unbelievable. At total throttle, it lets you and anyone around yous know that you lot are coming(or going!). At cruising speed information technology has just a pocket-sized hint of "drone" sound in the cabin, simply listening to the radio, conveying on a conversation, or talking on the telephone is no problem at all. I would highly reccomend this to anyone on a limited budget or someone just looking for an crawly exhaust note!

Reviews on the exhaust: Low end torques= has no losses or gains still the same as when i just had my CB-II simota SRI (which is expert, several members reported losses in low end torque) Mid range= definitely in that location are gains, improves fuel economy (as you don't have to step on the gas pedal to much or press in too much) Height end= i haven't tried it much yet, but definitely there is a gain that is noticeable Decibel/Audio of exhuast very low tone, quiet on idle and cruising (which is actually good it doesn't take hold of any attention when driving regularly) dawdling is very minimal or near non (not irritating even if you are the rider at the rear seat) The best of it, is that i gain ane-ii mpg which crash-land me to 31-32mpg.. commonly i am at 29.two mpg average.

I sent this to the salesman who took my order, and he suggested I post it as a review. Here it is with a few minor edits:
I wanted to permit you know that the Borla exhaust system I purchased from you arrived in proficient shape, and I have installed it.
When I ordered it, there was some question nearly whether this arrangement, which Borla describes being for the 2003 Thunderbird, would fit the 2005 Thunderbird that I own. I had read on several Thunderbird forums that it would fit, but yous may have to adjust (bend) a heat-shield on the car to keep it from interfering. That'due south exactly what I encountered. The heat-shield is made of such thin textile yet, that information technology was no trouble at all to arrange it for a good fit. A few advisedly placed blows with a gloved hand were all it took.
The rut-shield in question is in the guess center of the car, where the 2 stock mufflers are. The new unified muffler on the Borla system simply needs a fiddling more room nether the auto. The residual of the installation was a snap, and the whole job only took well-nigh four hours including jacking up the rear of the car to make room to work. The stock exhaust comes of in one piece.
I take no plans to put a Borla exhaust on my 2004 Bird, but information technology appears the system would keep exactly the same as the 2005.
I dear the sound of this system. It's a very nice rumble at startup, and gets pleasantly louder on hard acceleration. There is little difference in the exhaust racket at highway speed yet, which is a plus for me. I didn't want the car to go an abrasive road-trip vehicle.

With the intake and this exhaust it is a slap-up pleasure to drive. Information technology runs very stiff while acheving 28 to 32.5 mpg. Boilerplate 25 mpg. Its a economy car. No just this exhaust flows very free and has a dandy sound. It can be a piddling loud with the tiptop down, or during hard exceleration but at hwy speeds in 6th gear it is plesent. You tin play information technology on exceleration and decel. From 3000 rpm downward yous can blip the throttle and do wonderfull things. Information technology to me is a great exhaust for my electron blue vette.

This true cat back organisation is great. Consummate 304 stainless, smooth mandrel bends and all the hangers in the right spots. It took exactly i hour to remove the old, and install the new Borla. With a few minor adjustments to become the tips simply right, we were washed. The only other thing left was to fire that half dozen.0 liter up to see how she sounded. The sound was more than i could ever have expected. Smooth, deep, throaty rumble at idle and the residual you would have to hear for youself. Sweetness!!! This is truly a quality congenital system from the materials used right down to the welds and the stainless band clamps. SUPERB. Without actually dynoing the vehicle information technology is difficult to estimate the performance increase simply it is SUBSTANTIAL, VERY SUBSTANTIAL.
